What just happened? I seem to have woken up from a six-month coma to find the golf season coming to an end. Explains a lot, doesn't it! Football season is in full swing, the kids are back in school, and a shocking newcomer is positioned to win the PGA's Fed Ex Cup. How did we get here so fast? "The years just seem to fly by."

While reflecting on the 2007 golf season, I cannot help but think of all the staff members who supported my staff and I during our first full year. The positive energy and enthusiasm you showed gave us the confidence and motivation to do our best. I also need to thank those of you who chose to challenge us throughout the year. A person cannot grow from praise alone, and I know I am stronger for having dealt with some adversity. I have always lived with the attitude that "success is getting up one more time than you fall down". And, my staff and I feel like we've just stood back up, and are staring down 2008 with a new sense of confidence and direction. Your patience and trust allowed us the opportunity to learn from our mistakes (and obviously there were many), while growing to ensure we avoid those issues in the future. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for a wonderful 2007!

However, before we drift off into a snowy abyss, we have a wonderful fall to take advantage of. This is my favorite time of year to golf. The weather is perfect, the course is incredible, and I actually have time. But don't forget about the club just because we're 4 more games into an 11 game Ram losing streak, or because the Broncos are off to an exciting start to the season. They will all still be around in December, when there's blowing snow on the roads. Until then, check out this schedule of fall events and keep connected with what's happening:

Please don't forget that the pro shop will be stocked throughout the winter for all your holiday shopping needs. Please think ahead for all special orders; and don't forget your 15% member discount on all in stock merchandise (excluding balls and clubs). All pro shop credit will expire on October 31, 2007. We have lots of great merchandise available, and are running some season's end sales you shouldn't miss.

Thank you, again, for all of your support this season. We set records for tournament participation all year long and, more importantly, maintained an enthusiasm level and positive energy that was unparalleled in recent memory. The club and its associations are strong, and getting stronger. We should all be proud of the wonderful club we have here, and I thank you, sincerely, for the opportunity to be your Head Golf Professional. Have an incredible fall and holiday season!
